Join the club
Come along to the club and try out the social tennis and the atmosphere at a cost of only £3.00 per visit. The best times are usually after 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. It is important to wear tennis shoes that will not damage the shale courts – please ask if in doubt. We are not fussy about tennis whites and most members prefer to wear dedicated sports clothing. After three trials playing with existing members during social tennis, we hope you decide to join the club.
Once you have decided to join, please fill in a membership application form and return it to a committee member when you first play at the club. Payment is accepted by cheque, cash or internet banking.
All fees you may have paid for trials will then be refunded. Members are required to follow the rules and constitution of the club. Download the Hanley Rules here.
Please contact us if you have any questions about membership at email@example.com.
Subscriptions run from 1st April for 12 months and are payable in advance. If you join during the year there is a pro-rata rate. We also have a one-off joining fee.
