I've lived in Muswell Hill all my life, and been a coach for the last 23 years. I hold the second highest LTA coaching qualification: level 4 senior performance and senior club coach. As part of this, I have first aid and CRB (child protection) qualifications.
As a player I was ranked no.1 junior in Great Britain from age 10-15 and was 3rd in the world junior U12 orange bowl tournament. I attended the University of Houston on a five-year tennis scholarship and was a member of the Middlesex ladies county team for 20 years from age 15-35. I continue to play at a high level and am a member of the Over 35 Middlesex ladies county team.

My strengths include:
  • Teaching to pupils' needs and level.
  • Working with adult groups from beginners to advanced.
  • Doubles tactics and match play mentality.
  • I'm reliable, conscientious and hard working.

I started playing tennis at the age of six in Putignano (Italy). I showed talent and competing in various national tournaments. At the age of 15, I moved to Brindisi under the supervision of head coach Arturo Pisarra. During this period I did an intense month of training at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy Italy.

Under the umbrella of the Italian Tennis Federation I trained with the most promising Italian talents and competed as U12 U14 U16 in International Juniores Tournaments playing against players including Tommy Robredo and Juan Carlos Ferrero.

Just when I was starting my career in the Pro Circuit, playing ITF and Challengers tournaments I got a serious injury that forced me to quit.

Experience
After quitting I started teaching in my club for a couple of years than I moved to Rome where I started the University. I moved to London in 2012 and have taught tennis to a broad range of clients for two years, from adults, amateurs, beginners, kids or young professional players.

I hold group classes for adults, performance classes for young players, tennis camps with kids and private lessons. One of the things that characterises my approach is tailoring the lesson based on the needs of the client, putting a lot of care in particular on the aspects of technique, footwork, athletic, and mental strength. Even at an amateur level I try to involve clients which shows attitude, with drills and exercises that helps them to develop a better understandment and self awareness of their body/footwork and technique, stimulating them to reach the next level.

One of the main goal I’ve reached as a tennis coach is the ability to quickly spot the weaknesses/mistakes, and try to fix them explaining the correct technique in a comprehensive way. The major reward is when my client is happy and my goal is to make them improve no matter which level they ar
